About Location

Mount Katsuga Primeval Forest is a protected area located in Nara, Japan. It is known for its ancient and diverse forest ecosystem, with some trees believed to be over 1,000 years old. The forest is home to a variety of wildlife, including monkeys, deer, and over 200 species of birds. It is also considered a sacred place for the indigenous people of Nara, who have lived in harmony with the forest for centuries. Visitors to Mount Katsuga can hike its trails and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of this unique and well-preserved natural environment. The forest is primarily composed of evergreen broad-leaved trees, including Japanese beech, hinoki cypress, and Japanese oak. Additionally, the forest contains other species of trees such as magnolia, maple, and Japanese flowering cherry. These diverse trees create a unique ecosystem that supports a rich and varied wildlife population.

Terms & Conditions

1. Arrive 15 minutes before our Shinrin Yoku session to avoid any delays and to respect one another’s time (the group will have max. of 5 participants). If you cannot arrive on time, we  are sorry to inform you that we will wait for your max. of 10 minutes only , after which we will leave the meeting place. 

2. If the event is fully booked, but you wish to bring a friend please reach out via email: hello@milenaguziak.pl

3. The session will take place, even if the capacity is not met.

4. To ensure your safety, please bring your medication if you suffer from any medical conditions.

5. Please be responsible for your personal belongings during the session. Your Guide will not be held responsible for its damage or loss.

6. In case of bad weather conditions and keeping your safety in mind, your guide has the right to cancel the session. The session can be reschedule to another time. A partial refund will be made (75 USD – handling fees).

7. If you cancels a session or do not show up, no refund will be made. But you may transfer your session to someone else or use it for towards another session according to eventbrite schedule.

9. Upon registration via eventbrite, you will be asked to fill out official registration form.

10. The session will end between 2 and 2:30 pm.
