The concept of TSUNAGARI (繋がり) in Japanese embodies the essence of connection, linking individuals not only to each other but also to the intrinsic values of nature and tradition. Drawing inspiration from this meaning, つながり Shop emerges under the つながり brand, dedicated to offering items meticulously sourced from Japan. This unique online boutique aims to foster a sense of connection to what is important: intertwining individuals with nature, culture, and each other through a carefully selected assortment and hand-made items by the founder, Milena. Among its offerings are Japanese hand-made notebooks made of Japanese WASHI (和紙) , HINOKI blocks, wooden chips for essential oils sourced without cutting trees, a variety of essential oils representing the essence of Japan, and other items, each introduced with new editions annually – ensuring every piece contributes to a small-scale production that champions uniqueness and a personal touch.
Central to the つながり Shop’s identity is its logo, which features the SEIGAIHA (青海波) pattern. This ancient symbol, with its origins tracing back to the Nara period (710–794 CE), represents waves of water. More than just a decorative motif, the SEIGAIHA embodies the perpetual flow and connection of life, resonating with the shop’s philosophy of nurturing, mindfulness and a deep connection to one’s own nature and the rhythm of existence. Through its carefully curated selection, the founder of つながり Shop stands as a testament to the beauty and significance of connecting with nature, craftsmanship, and the stories embedded in Japanese culture.
At つながり Shop, we aims to foster a sense of connection to what is important: intertwining individuals with nature, culture, and each other through a carefully selected assortment and hand-made items by the founder, Milena.
At つながり Shop, we pride ourselves on not being your typical online store where items are impulsively purchased. We believe that each step in purchasing our products should resonate with our philosophy of つながり, ensuring that every transaction is a thoughtful journey rather than a mere acquisition.
Understanding the importance of individual experience and connection, we have a unique policy in place: each customer is allowed to purchase only one of the same item. This approach ensures that every individual has the opportunity to form a unique bond with their selected items. Our annul editions introduces different つながり Box every year.
To facilitate this process, we ask our customers to choose their item and then fill out the Waiting List Form. Following this, we will reach out to you with an invoice. You will have a few days to complete the payment. Upon receipt of your payment, our team will meticulously prepare a specially crafted package for you.
